Viraj Mahajan is known for his diverse design sensibilities. Be it interiors, furniture or the menswear couture line, his ability to take the finest materials and convert them into distinctive pieces helped him expand his 40-year-old family apparel exports business into an empire that is well-known today. Not able to contain his creativity limited to apparels, he ventured into a passion that was close to his heart even as a child, that of furniture designing.
His furniture design brand - "FURNITURE LIBRARY" launched in 1998, have catered to prestigious clients like the Embassy of Oman, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, Oberoi Hotels, and many more. Growing from strength to strength, Viraj then ventured into couture label “VIRAJ MAHAJAN COUTURE” a natural corollary to transforming the old family exports business into a brand synonymous to luxury.
Viraj himself has trained each craftsman working for the brands which is why FURNITURE LIBRARY and VIRAJ MAHAJAN COUTURE are largely recognised for being a luxury brand creating distinctive pieces of bespoke furniture according to every client's individual taste.
Viraj takes inspiration from the Persian embroidery zardozi for his regal sherwani collection. Zardozi embroidery is a beautiful metal embroidery which was once used to embellish the attire of the kings and royals of India, besides that, the brand has colossal diversity in men's apparels, from intricately crafted leather jackets and kurtas to modish shirts.
The brand's pivotal role is to serve its customers with optimum and desired goods.
